Classic cars line the streets of Bickleton

Cars, deals and pies: More than 135 cars parked from one end of Main Street in Bickleton to the other. The annual event was deemed a great success. Also part of the fun were a flea market and pie sale.

Memorial service for Carol Blakey will be Sunday Sept. 13 at the Lodge Hall.  Carol and her husband John live in Pine Creek west of Bickleton.

The annual Car Show in Bickleton was a great success. One hundred thirty-seven cars showed up to line both sides of the street from the east end of town clear to the west end.  The weather co-operated better this year. Audrey and David Haynes thank the community for stepping up to give a lot of help.  Labor Day weekend 2016 is the date for the next show.

In the months of May, June and July folks from 53 cities had visited in this end of the county.
