Back by popular demand, Pioneer Memorial Church Adventure Club

 


The last of the fire-fighting and mop-up crews were demobilized from the Cougar Creek Fire on Saturday, Sept.19. The tent city that had become familiar sights since Aug. 11 at the school and then the rodeo grounds were gone by Sept. 20. A huge thank you to each of the team members, including several local contractors and the Glenwood Volunteer Fire Department, who helped to keep Glenwood safe from the fire that engulfed more than 53,000 acres north of town.

Due to the popularity of the Adventure Club during the last school year – the Pioneer Memorial Community Church will again sponsor the program after school on Wednesdays beginning Sept. 23. Fun activities planned for the sessi...
