Lady Wolves search for offense and a league win

The Lady Timberwolves' soccer team ran into a pair of buzz saw teams last week, resulting in losses of 9-0 to Highland and 13-0 to Connell. The team is 0-5 on the year with another tough opponent, La Salle in Goldendale on Tuesday. The three teams are a combined 13-3 and undefeated in league play.

The Lady Wolves had a strong game at goal by Neda Maghsadi against Highland. Maghsadi was fending off three-on-one and two-on-one attacks throughout the match. She got some help around the goal from defenders Gabrielle Guthrie and Isabel Vega, but the 3-0 lead grew in the second half as the Wolves tired with no substitutes available for the game. Maghsadi finished with 14 saves.
