Timberwolves dominate run game on both sides of ball in 47-0 shutout over Highland

NOWHERE TO RUN: Highland's tailback, Dalton Keller spent most of Friday night mired in the backfield as Goldendale's defense wouldn't budge. Above, Charles Hicks wraps up Keller as Grant Gunkel (25) and Mark Briggs (88) move in to assist. Keller was held to minus 18 yards and nine carries and the team finished with minus eight yards rushing.

Goldendale didn't waste any time setting the tone for their 47-0 homecoming win over Highland. Mitchell Bane stroked a perfect on-side kick on the opening kickoff. The ball took a couple of bounces then popped high in the air over the Scottie who was caught by surprise. Logan Boardman , streaking down the sideline made the recovery in stride and Goldendale was in business. Sixty-five seconds later on the game clock, Boardman put Goldendale on the board with a 5-yard touchdown run.

For an encore, Bane tried it again, this time the ball didn't hop, but it was mishandled by Highland and Goldendale threatened to run away with the game with another recovery. On a penalty filled drive that star...
