Bickleton, Lyle-Wishram challenge Knights in Gorge League

Bickleton showed they could stay with Sunnyside Christian with a 25-10 opening set win last week. The Knights evened the match with a 25-14 win in game two and eked out a lead with a 25-21 third set victory. The final game was another 25-14 win for the Knights, who passed the Pirates for the league lead in their first match of the year. Bickleton had a total team effort in the match with Hannah Pond scoring on 13 kills, four for Kira Harvey, three for Shaylee Tharp and Ashley Magana and one for Heather Goodnight. The big hitters for Sunnyside Christian kept the Pirates busy with Pond logging 16 digs, 13 for Harvey, 12 for Magana and six each for Goodnight and Hali O'Banion. Emily Hansen h...
