Wolves begin second half run at La Salle Lightning


It was a tough week for Goldendale volleyball as the Lady Wolves lost two league matches by 3-1 scores. Serving was a little sub-par for Goldendale, under 90 percent for both matches.

The first loss was at Naches Valley 25-14, 24-26, 25-16, 25-16. Zara Kartes and Kailey Garrigus were 100 percent on serves. Sierra Plum had 25 assists and Ocean Bryan had 16 kills for Goldendale.

On Thursday Zillah handed the Wolves a tough defeat on the Goldendale court 25-17, 20-25, 25-20, 26-24. Kartes had another good night serving and led the team with 13 digs. Bryan had six aces to go with 18 kills, but the Wolves had 10 service errors.
