Men's chorus forming in Columbia River Gorge

 


The Columbia Gorge communities will soon have a new singing organization. The Columbia Gorge Chorus, a men’s a cappella group, will hold its first meeting on Tuesday, October 20, from 6:30 - 9:00 pm at the Hood River Valley Christian Church, 975 Indian Creek Road in Hood River.

The group will sing mostly music in the barbershop style and will plan to become a chapter in the Barbershop Harmony Society (formerly SPEBSQSA). Key drivers in the effort to establish this new chorus are Gorge residents Ken Galloway and Dick O’Bannon.
