Cougar's travel by air for third win

 


Gavyn Nelson lit up the skies for 400 yards passing and five touchdowns as Lyle-Wishram defeated Washington School for the Deaf 38-12. All five of Nelson’s touchdown passes came from long range.

Dasean Leslie started the fireworks with a 42-yard strike in the first quarter and he ended it for the Cougars with a 68-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Randy Hubbard also scored twice, once from 52 yards and then from 48 yards. Mickey Jones took it in from 42 yards out in the third quarter.

Nelson has thrown for 595 yards and eight touchdowns in the past two games. Lyle-Wishram scored two-point conversions on three of the touchdowns and added a safety after failing to score from the Schoo...
