Cougars stay unbeaten with win over Klickitat-Glenwood

BACK-COURT KILL: Lacy Carse fires a hard shot from the back-court for Lyle-Wishram against Klickitat-Glenwood.

Lyle-Wishram swept Klickitat-Glenwood 25-9, 25-16, 25-12 in Klickitat last week. The home team was overwhelmed by Cougar experience as senior Lacy Carse served up 13 assists and seniors MaeLynn Luke, Ellie Smith and Kiya Childers knocked home 14 kills for the win.

The Vandal-Eagles had trouble stringing together points and only had back-to-back points twice in the final game, all from Lyle-Wishram errors. On the other side of the net, Alex Cloud strung together a series of points for the Lady Cougars in the final two games, running the score from 11-6 to 17-6 in the final game. Winter Bergin-Keeling had seven aces for the Cougars who improved to 3-0 in league.
