Leslie hauls in seven passes for 160 yards in losing effort against Taholah

Taholah made the long trip from the Olympic Peninsula to Lyle to take on the Cougars, Saturday. The game was a wild one with the Chitwins leaving with a 42-16 win.

The first quarter was an exercise in futility. Few of Taholah's snaps were within reach of the quarterback and things weren't much better for the Cougars. The teams combined for negative 22 yards on 27 plays.

Lyle-Wishram abandoned the running game in the second quarter and had success in the air. Gavyn Nelson was 9-21 in the quarter for 178 yards and a touchdown. Freshman Dasean Leslie couldn't be contained as he had six catches for 124 yards in the second quarter alone. The touchdown came on a play where Leslie was double-tea...
