Wolves into playoffs with win over Naches Valley

ESTABLISHING THE RUN: Demetrius McCoy turns the corner on his way to the first of two touchdowns for the Timberwolf senior. Goldendale ran the ball on 44 of 61 plays for 268 yards in a 21-14 win over Naches Valley.

Goldendale emerged from a flag-filled football game against Naches Valley to claim a spot in the SCAC playoffs. Both teams played like they knew what was at stake as Naches Valley ran out of time in Timberwolf territory leaving a jubilant Goldendale team with a 21-14 win to advance their league record to 4-1 with a final game at La Salle left to decide the playoff seeding.

The game opened with a bizarre on-side kick by Goldendale that caught the Rangers by surprise.
