Knights put quick end to Timberwolves' season

Royal City was as efficient as can be as they ran over Goldendale 70-2 in the District playoff game at Royal City, Friday. The Knights scored touchdowns on each of their first seven possessions of the game. Goldendale interrupted the streak with a safety following a high snap on a punt, but Royal scored again four plays later on a 58 yard passing play that bounced off one Knight and fell into the hands of another. Royal scored two more times in the third quarter and advanced to State playoffs with an undefeated record.

Four of Goldendale's first half drives were three and out, two drives ended with fumbles and one with an interception. Tackling was an issue for the Timberwolves who allow...
