Honor Flight brings lost friends together


John Hinderliter of Goldendale served in the military in Korea back in the 1950s and made some friends. He was reunited with one of them again for the first time since Korea just a short while ago-but he didn't know it.

Hinderliter went on an Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. a few weeks ago. Honor Flight is a non-profit umbrella organization under which local chapters and groups operate that flies veterans to the nation's capital to visit memorials of the wars in which they served, though typically the veterans get to all the memorials.
