Dr. James Ogden and helpers were at the kitchen at 5:30 a.m. Thanksgiving morning to start on the seven turkeys used to feed the approximately 200 people who came through the doors. All was orderly and all were well fed and grateful for the food and companionship. Rep. Gina McCabe was serving drinks, KPUD General Manager Jim Smith was washing dishes, and folks at the tables enjoyed a memorable Thanksgiving.

There was more than one church Thanksgiving dinner offered this year in Goldendale, but the oldest seems to be the one at the Father's House, with estimates placing it at more than two decades old.
