Wolves with double dual wrestling win and five champs at Bruin Invite

PATIENCE: Demetrius McCoy patiently waited for his opportunities against River View's Sam Monds. The Goldendale senior took control in the second round and won by pin. Goldendale defeated River View and Columbia-Burbank in the double dual at Zillah on Thursday.

Goldendale wrestlers are off to a hot start on the season, winning their first two team matches and delivering a strong performance at the Bruin Invitational over the weekend.

The Timberwolves will be traveling with the Zillah Leopards this year as they make the rounds of double dual meets against SCAC teams. Last Thursday was the first of the double duals with the Leopards and Timberwolves taking on Columbia-Burbank and River View of the SCAC East. The matches were held at Zillah High School and the home team and their Goldendale travel partner weren't very hospitable, sending the East visitors home with a pair of 0-2 records.
