It would be nice to see a little less pushing, shoving, hacking and more quick feet and skillful play in basketball. A few years ago, a group of Goldendale parents were upset with the way games were being played and officiated. They believed it was dangerous for their kids to play basketball. It doesn’t look like much has changed.

I think it starts with coaching. It appears players are taught to grab and push, fiercely contesting everything, knowing they will get away with most of it.
