Glenwood School recognizes school board during School Board Appreciation Month


The Glenwood area caught up a bit in the deficit-moisture situation in December; as evidenced by all the white stuff that is still blanketing the valley. Officially, Doug Daniels reported that we received 14.31 inches of rainfall. Unofficially, we cumulatively received right at 4 ft. of snow throughout the month in the Ladiges Road area. Doug reported that the highest rainfall in the past 20 years was in December, 1996 when 16.8 inches fell. The lowest December rainfall was in 2013 when only 2.41 inches fell. The 20-year average is 6.36 inches in our area.
