Lady Cougars split league games, host Pirates in key game Friday

 


Lyle-Wishram split their league games last week, winning the opener 61-19 over Trout Lake and losing to 1B powerhouse Sunnyside Christian 73-26.

The Lady Cougars lost an earlier league game to Yakama Nation and will complete their first swing through league this week. They played at Glenwood-Klickitat on Tuesday and host Bickleton on Friday in a battle for third place.

After a week-long break, the Cougars traveled to Hood River and defeated the Hood River Valley JV 59-38. Katelynn Oldfield had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Lacy Carse had a different kind of double-double with 20 points and 10 assists. MaeLynn Luke scored 16 points and had nine steals.
