Roll up your sleeves, Lyle Park playground needs TLC

 


All you ‘Birders’ out there…The eagles have landed!  Bald eagles migrate south each winter in search of food and the Columbia River is a favorite winter vacation home. The Dalles Dam Visitor Center will be open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 30, for the Corps’ sixth annual Dam Eagle Watch.  Join park rangers for a variety of fun activities. The Corps partners with the U.S. Forest Service and the Rowena Wildlife Clinic to provide educational programs, live raptor viewings inside the facility and eagle watching outside.
