Key trip to Cle Elum coming up for Goldendale after 0-2 week


Goldendale’s basketball teams are heading down the back half of the season, each in need of a couple of wins to get into the race for the top four in the SCAC west.

The Lady Timberwolves are still winless after a 64-18 loss to Granger last week. Goldendale fell behind by 14 in the first quarter and never challenged the Spartans. Abby Mains scored six points, and Zara Kartes had five to lead Goldendale.

Another slow start at home against Connell ended in a 66-48 non-conference loss. Ocean Bryan scored 23 points and Allison Gilliam scored 10 for Goldendale.
