Timberwolves split league matches in home pin-fest

TAKE DOWN ARTIST: Lucas Anderson had six take downs in his match against Christopher Williams, of Naches Valley, before finally getting the pin with just 1.2 seconds to go in the match.

Goldendale split their home town double dual wrestling match last week, defeating Highland 42-30 and losing to Naches Valley 51-30. All but one match ended with a pin and the highlight of the evening was Lucas Anderson's pin over Christopher Williams, of Naches Valley.

Anderson scored a quick take-down in the opening round, but gave up a penalty point for grasping his hands around Williams' waist. When they restarted on the mat, Anderson was penalized again and a new strategy emerged. Anderson's corner told him to release Williams and start in the neutral position.
