Lady Wolves seek positives in league final at Granger

Goldendale's girls will have one more shot at a league win when they travel to Granger, Friday. They will be looking for something good to happen to put a cap on a disappointing season.

Last week, Goldendale suffered lop-sided losses to Zillah (66-25), Naches Valley (80-41) and Cle Elum-Roslyn (63-41). Turnovers have been a big factor in the losses. Zillah used their aggressive style to force 33 turnovers, 22 coming in the first half, getting the Timberwolves out of their game while running up a 35-9 half-time edge. Allison Gilliam found her way through the Zillah defense for a team high 11 points, but the Leopards kept Ocean Bryant from beating them holding the team's leading scorer to...
