Chocoholic's dream comes true at Chocolate Festival

GOODIES IN THE MAKING: It was a chocolate lover's field day last week in Lyle for the Chocolate Festival at the Activity Center. Students were able to make their own dipped pretzels and rice crispy bars.

This week was the week for chocolate lovers. The Chocolate Festival at the Activity Center in Lyle was a chocoholic's dream. The Lyle students got involved with homemade chocolate dipped pretzels and rice crispy bars, and were such a success that they had to close their booth, run back to the school to produce another batch...which also sold out. Other vendors displayed their wares from kitchen tools to romantic candles to set that special someone in the right mood. Congratulations go to the winners of the raffle baskets which were our own Don Starkin, Joan Titus and Goldendale's Michele Reeg.

A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Tetrahedron Winery tasting room will be held this Saturday,...
