Goldendale student earns national recognition for work at Baylor

HIGH HONORS: Goldendale's Carla Cook is now in Who's Who Among College Students.

Carla Cook, a Baylor University senior from Goldendale, received the Who's Who Among College Students award on Feb. 26 at Baylor University.

Created in 1934 by Henry Pettus Randall Jr., the Who's Who award honors upperclassmen who have excelled in curricular and extracurricular activities from 1,000 colleges and universities across the nation.

Cook, the daughter of Ken and Sharmon Edmonds, is majoring in Secondary Life Sciences said she wants to teach because she wants to positively impact her students' lives.
