Eat what you grow, aim of Grow For It program


The Grow For It program got underway on a sunny Saturday at Broken Boulder Farm. The program is part of the movement to get people involved in growing their own food.

Grow For It creates a web of relationships among experienced and beginning gardeners. Adults and youth are equally targeted by the program, which is part of the Washington State University program through the local Extension Office and the 4-H program. Four-H advisor, Lisa Harness oversees the program from the 4-H side of things and the Master Gardeners serve as mentors and educators.
