Cochran move to head coach maintains continuity in GHS baseball program

Goldendale baseball is transitioning to a new Head Coach with Anne Cochran taking over from Bob Dohrman this year. It seems more like a transition because Cochran has been involved with the program for years and Dohrman continues to travel back to Goldendale as an assistant coach.

Cochran has been involved in coaching baseball for about 19 years. Anyone who has watched the Timberwolves practice over the year knows that Cochran tends to gravitate toward being a hitting coach. She says it happened naturally.

She helped out as many parents do when her sons Aaron and Ben started playing Tee-ball. She obtained some hitting instruction video tapes as the boys approached high school and says she...
