Native American art featured at Maryhill

This spring Maryhill Museum will showcase prints from a unique program of Native American artwork.

In February of 2015 Crow's Shadow Institute of the Arts in Pendleton, Ore., embarked on a collaborative project with the Nixya'awii Community School, a charter school serving the Native American population, to introduce local students to printmaking. Over the past year a select group of art students from Nixya'awii have been learning printmaking in the Crow's Shadow studio under the direction of CSIA Master Printer, Frank Janzen.
