ID theft and assault crimes in Goldendale

 


A Goldendale woman was arrested for second degree identification theft and second degree theft involving use of another woman’s debit card.

According to police, Gabrielle Casey, 24, found the debit card and purchased over $1,000 of food and other items over a period of three days. The owner of the card had been monitoring her account and initially saw no action and assumed she had simply misplaced the card. Once the charges began to come in, her account was quickly depleted. According to Goldendale Police Sargent Jay Hunziker, video surveillance from local grocery stores showed Casey using the card as a credit card, thus avoiding using a pin number and with the use of a checkout card re...
