Spring keeps meeting efficient and smooth


Spring was in the air at the Goldendale City Council last Monday night as councilors sailed through a packed agenda with smooth efficiency, wrapping it all up in less than a half hour.

Though there were complicated items with big dollar signs attached, most were for projects that have been in the works for months. That included awarding of the West Columbus Neighborhood Improvement Project to POW Contracting of Pasco in the amount of $2,135,899.38. The project area will be bounded by Columbus, Court, Klickitat, and Darland streets.
