WatchDOGS becoming kids' best friends in primary school


The WatchDOGS are here. They've become fixtures at the Goldendale Primary School. The pack is growing. And kids love them.

"The 'DOGS' in WatchDOGS means 'Dads of Great Students," explains Erin Gray, one of the organizers of the program at the school. The program exists in 47 states around the country, and it lists as its two primary aims: "1) To provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important; and 2) To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying." Almost half a million men in America are engaged in WatchDOGS.
