Let's keep priorities straight


To the Editor:

Once again the city of Flint, Mich., is in the news. State, county and city officials are trying to point a finger to a guilty party. The barn door has been left open, the horses are out and gone—who left the door open is a moot point, at this point. The guilty city, county, and state officials who committed this horrendous fiasco will have to live with their own conscience.

Every time the lead poisoning fiasco comes to my attention, I think about how the city, county, and state officials are going to care for the generation of children that will have lifetime disabilities from lead poisoning. An entire generation of children will have a greater possibility of developing...
