JV can't stay with LWK varsity, wins against the Cougar JV

ACROBATIC MOVE: Goldendale's Koby Mitchell applies the tag to a Cougar runner who tried to take second base following a throw to the plate.

Lyle-Wishram/Klickitat's varsity baseball team overwhelmed the pitching of Goldendale's junior varsity, last Friday, scoring a 12-2 win in a four-inning game. All nine starters for LWK scored, led by a 4-4 day for Chad Hester, who scored each time on base. Andrew Carlock was 3-4 and Zach Miller gave up six hits for the win. Blake Best doubled in the second inning for Goldendale and Riley Seaver drove him home on a ground ball to the right side. Goldendale's other run was scored by Rennen Kauffman on another ground ball by Justin Sargeant. The Cougars limited the scoring in game one with station to station running.

Game two was a 17-9 win for Goldendale in a match-up of junior varsity team...
