Opening day for baseball has finally arrived and we shall soon see if the latest attempt to fix the Seattle Mariners is a step in the right direction.

Nice start by Felix, sort of. He would have had another opening day win if Seager and Marte didn’t boot easy ground balls. Control issues for Felix were a problem, but an inning later he was back in the zone.

It is tough when you lose a one-hitter, particularly to a division rival, but I’ll wait until June to decide if this looks any better than last year. I did hear Blowers say Servais doesn’t believe in bunting with runners on first. Yikes! Only squeezes?
