GHS students tackle 'Non-Traditional Agriculture'



OUT OF THE ORDINARY: These Goldendale High School students were part of recent Non-Traditional Agricultural Career nights.

The Goldendale Agriculture Department recently hosted two Non-Traditional Agriculture Career Nights for 7th through 12th grade agriculture students.

On Feb 23, about 20 female ag students participated in the Women in Welding Career Event. The female students came into the GHS ag shop and made metal roses using MIG welders and torches with industry professionals. They worked with four Goldendale graduates: Morgan Gamble, Mark Hilton, Will Bowdish, and Chen Hites as well as a parent, Steve Priddy.
