There is always hot new talent moving into high school competition. The Red hot frosh from this weekend were Sam McCullough, of Lyle-Wishram and Kinley Troh, of Glenwood.

McCullough, who is not exactly your prototypical hurdler took on both events at the Sherman County Invitational and came home with a pair of fourth place finishes. McCullough is the second ranked freshman for state 1B athletes in both events. He ran 19.9 in the 110 and 50.41 in the 300 hurdles.

Similarly, Troh is not your prototypical shot putter, but she can really throw, finishing seventh with a 26-11 toss. She was also sixth in the discus at 73-feet. Troh is fourth and fifth ranked freshman in the state 1B performance...
