Maryhill Museum receives award from NEA


Maryhill Museum of Art has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to support programs that are part of the Columbia River Highway centennial celebrations taking place in 2016. 

"The National Endowment for the Arts is committed to nurturing artists and the arts in communities across the country," said NEA Chairman Jane Chu. "Supporting projects from organizations like Maryhill Museum of Art represents a wise investment in both the Columbia River Gorge region and the creative vitality of the nation."

Colleen Schafroth, executive director of Maryhill Museum of Art, echoed these sentiments.
