Apprehended suspects make matters worse


Some people have a knack for making bad things worse. So it was last week when two men aggravated their situation by making bad decisions.

The first was in the evening of April 20 when Ricky Contreras, 23, wrecked a car he was driving without permission from the owner. The accident took place at the corner of North Columbus and NE High streets, not far from where the car originated. Witnesses told police that the vehicle was seen traveling at a high rate of speed. The driver tried to make the turn and hit a curb, flipping the car onto its side.
