Age, illness don't deter this golfer

BEST FEET FORWARD: Roger Telford's golf game belies his age.

Any Sunday duffer can probably make the claim about shooting a round of golf to match their age, if they are just golfing nine holes. A 45 for a 45 year-old man isn't much to crow about. But how about 18 holes, where par is typically 72 strokes?

Goldendale's Roger Telford recently accomplished that, for the 100th time. Telford is no Sunday duffer. He has been golfing since he was about 22 years old. He says that until recently he would golf 180 to 200 times per year.
