State art contest seeks entries from students

 

The State of Washington wants Washington college students to have their paintings viewed by as many as 3 million people.

"Show off your artistic side and inspire your peers to vote by taking part in the state Voters' Pamphlet Art Contest," states the Secretary of State's web site.

The contest, which ends June 15, is sponsored by the Secretary of State's Elections Division. To submit an entry, contestants must be enrolled at a Washington college, community college, university, trade school or professional school, and be eligible to vote by this fall's General Election.
