Bryant: The way government works doesn't really work

ON THE ROAD: Republican gubernatorial candidate Bill Bryant says he wants to make positive changes in Olympia, then leave politics.

Bill Bryant leaves his entourage in the car, strolling solitary to The Sentinel office. A politician walking alone. It almost seems a metaphor for what Bryant says he wants in Washington state government.

Bryant is on his way to the Lincoln Dinner in White Salmon, and he is the Republican candidate for governor. And before one scoffs at the idea of a Republican being elected to top state office in this liberal-happy political environment, listen to Bryant's plan:
