County schools send 54 athletes to District 5, 6 State qualifier

Alex Pabon, Kya Fee and Bethany Putnam were winners in four events at the District 5, 1B track meet in Bickleton, Friday. Fee, a junior from Trout Lake, was one of a handful of winners who also set Personal Records (PR) at the sometimes breezy meet. Fee had a PR in the 300 meter hurdles, edging teammate, and surprising freshman, Joanna Peck who had a PR 55.42. Fee also won the high jump at 5-feet, 1-inch and was a member of the winning 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams.

Pabon, of Lyle-Wishram won the 100 and 200 meter sprints in times of 11.71 and 23.98, respectively. His other first place finishes were as a member of the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams. Putnam scored her four wins in the 800 meter...
