The City of Goldendale's new truck

The City of Goldendale now owns this massive truck that the fire department got for free from the Department of Natural Resources. It's a 2002 M-1088 Stewart & Stevenson 6 x 6 five-ton truck with just 4,500 miles on it. The truck cost the army $167,000 originally. John Halm drove it back from Fort Lewis. The department hopes to mount a 2,000 gallon water tank on the back and use it as an attack brush rig.
