110 Years Ago - July 7, 1906

Goldendale’s Fourth - The celebration at Goldendale was a “hot one,” as regards to the weather, and as regards from the crowd, it was the largest ever seen here on a fourth. The parade was unusually fine, a large number of floats being a unique part of it, and together with the Goddess of Liberty car, and the children’s car, all led by the famous Wasco Silver Cornet Band, it was not only big but a highly praiseworthy procession. Those having floats to which had been devoted much care were Ledbetters & Wallace Co., Frazer & Lucas, McKenzie & Son, and S. Waters.
