It's Bryant's time


To the Editor:

Republican voters of Eastern Washington have selected our governor for the last several elections. Basically, by not voting.

Western Washington voters have a high turnout at election time, and the west side majority is Democrat.

Eastern Washington is majority Republican, and if that majority had returned their ballots at the same rate as West side voters neither Gregoire nor Inslee would have been elected.

Indeed, if the Republicans of just Benton county had voted at the west side rate, Dino Rossi would have never had to face a recount. (Dino is only person to win two out of three counts and still lose an election—creative counters in King County.)
