Goldendale ladies take four of six flight wins in local match

 


Goldendale Golf Club members Janet Smith, Nancy Johnson, Liz Ihrig and Donna Bliss were winners during Ladies Visitation play in Goldendale. Smith and Bliss were net winners with scores of 74 for the first and third flight, respectively. Johnson and Ihrig won their flights for gross score with rounds of 100 and 110, respectively. Best score for the day was a 93 shot by Nancy Propheter, representing Willow Creek Golf Club. Propheter was flight 1 gross score winner. She also was winner of longest putt and longest drive for her flight.

Nancy Beyerlin was second in flight 1 with a gross score of 98. She was also closest to the pin for her flight. Sharon Henry, of Ellensburg was second net score and winner of most accurate drive for flight 1.

Bernie Keys’ 105 was second gross score for flight 2. Johnson sank the longest putt for flight 2. Loa Heideman and Anna Carpenter, both of Big River Golf Club were first and second for net score. Heideman also had closest to the pin and longest drive for flight 2. Carroll Storkel, representing Sun Tides Golf Course, had most accurate drive.

The runners up for flight 3 were Debi Svendsen (113 gross) and Carole Taber (77 net) from Goldendale. Becky Bare won longest putt and longest drive for flight 3. Most accurate drive went to Bliss and Ihrig won closest to the pin.

Nine hole players of note were Dorothy Miller (53 gross) and Felicia Gray (43.5 net), both from Goldendale.
