August 17, 2016

Man camp, presented by God’s Helpers, is coming to the Goldendale area this weekend. The camp will run from Aug. 19 through Aug. 21 at the Horseshoe Bend Ranch.

The weekend of fellowship features four guest speakers:

• Victor Hunt - pastor of Goldendale Nazarene Church will speak on Friday night, his topic: “Who is Jesus?”

• Darrell Watson - Senior Elder at Father’s House in Goldendale is the Saturday morning speaker on the topic: “Why Jesus came.”

• Dr. Harvey Brown - Dr. Harvey Brown, President of Impact Ministries, in Tennessee, will speak on Saturday afternoon on “What Jesus Said.”

• Pastor Phil Baldwin - leader of congregations throughout Eastern Washington will be the Sunday morning Worship Leader.

Donations for the event are suggested at $20 for one day or $40 for the weekend.

The event organizer, Richie Bozarth said “So many businesses around town have been a great help. The General Store printed all the flyers and things for no cost. We’ve also had a ton of help from Holcomb’s, IGA, Jim Allyn, and many more. Even if you don’t have money, come.”

All meals will be provided by the camp. Participants should bring boots and chairs. Attendees are welcome to park RV’s and bring tents, although commuters are welcome.

Saturday activities include hiking, biking, fishing, horseshoe tournament and live music. Contact Mike Howard at (509) 773-3217 for more details.
