Say hello to new faces

Brittany Allen

Jaryd Cline

The Sentinel welcomes some new faces in the office.

At top right, Jaryd Cline is our new Sports reporter, bringing with him experience playing sports while at Goldendale High School plus two years covering sports in "Northern Exposure" country (Alaska). His car is still on the way from Fairbanks-he decided not to drive after hearing harrowing warnings about such a road journey.

Amy Reeves

Next is Amy Reeves, whose smiling face will greet customers at the front desk while she works as an admin assistant and bookkeeper.

Josh Quantrell, third photo down, worked at The Sentinel about a decade ago and now returns as a freelance reporter with a great sense of humor and honed story instincts.

Brittany Allen has served as a freelancer for The Sentinel off and on for some years and has been on staff just in the last few weeks. Her plans will take her out of the area soon, though; in the meantime her already-seasoned journalistic skills have been of great benefit to The Sentinel.

So welcome to all, an imminent good-bye to Brittany, and thank you to our readers for your patience during a time of considerable change here.

All photos here are by Brittany Allen.
