Arthur Lemon

Arthur Lemon, 53, was born on Feb. 20, 1963. He was a man of many skills, a MacGyver in his own right. He helped develop the first successful silicon crystal growing for the modern CD. He was a computer geek, working on networks before “network” was a word in the computer world. He was part owner of Force 5, a computer gaming studio. He was married to Delaney Lemon for 20 years and then separated. He loved to take road trips. He went to Tennessee, Arizona and Canada. He loved fishing and boating on his parents, Evelyn and Harold’s property off the Klickitat River. He loved hiking in the woods and camping. He was the type of person who, when he broke his leg, hobbled around and rebuilt a Jeep Cherokee anyways. He broke both his hips and still rode his bike. He was an amazing man. Unstoppable when he made up his mind to do something. Whatever life threw at him, he threw it back and kept going.

We lost Arthur on Friday, Sept. 23, 2016. He was loved. He left behind his partner, lover, and friend of 15 years, Mary DeVoe; her children Brian and Michelle DeVoe; grandchildren, Ethan, 14, DJ, 13, and Shelby, 4. He will be missed by so many people who knew him, his friends, his family, and his beloved dogs who kept him laughing.

A wake service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8 at his home on 430 W Collins. Come share the joy of Arthur’s life, hear and tell stories that will ease the loss. Call 250-6183 for more information.
