Spectacular serving leads Goldendale spikers

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS: The Timberwolves get pumped up before Saturday's opening set against Cle Elum.

Behind an outstanding 24 service aces and a 95 percent serving rate, the Goldendale Timberwolves cruised to their sixth straight win on Saturday, crushing the Cle Elum Warriors in three sets.

Despite missing a few players on Saturday, the Wolves put on a clinic from the serving line in their sweep (25-7, 25-13, 25-11) of the Warriors. Six players recorded at least one ace and the team committed just four service errors.

Serving has been a big factor during Goldendale's six game (not counting Tuesday's game at Highland, results unavailable at press time) win streak.
