Veterans Day parade set to go

HONORING: Last year was the first Veterans Day parade in Goldendale, and organizers are getting ready for another one this year.

This year seems to be the year for continuing new traditions; the Goldendale Veterans Day Parade is no exception. Members of Goldendale Masonic Lodge are currently busy at work signing up businesses and community members to man floats for this year's event, and the Goldendale High School Marching Band will be making an appearance for a second year as well. The parade will take place on Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m.
